Man, the stories I could tell you from skating. I love skating. I don't do the typical skateboarding thing though, I downhill skateboard. What is downhill skateboarding? It's a discipline of skateboarding, focusing on speed and technique. The fastest I've ever gone was 57 MPH. I can tell you now that I was scared out of my mind. I think before I ever went that fast I had only gone 40 MPH or something, so it was a big jump. When you're increasing your speeds in downhill skateboarding, just 3MPH seems like a huge difference. Going 57MPH for the first time I got insane speed wobbles, but I rode it out. That was the first time I'd gotten speed wobbles in my life. It's a feeling of uncertainty and humbleness. Your eyes get wide, your heart beats faster than ever, and you only have yourself to rely on. So speaking of speed wobbles, here's an article from TVLesson on how to get rid of them.

The funny thing is, I bombed this huge hill from the top my very first time. I was fully protected, but the accompaniment of fellow skaters pressured me to just do it and not be a wuss. Big mistake. Anyways, good thing I didn't fall or else I would've probably gotten injured (like this one guy who fell that day; he dislocated his shoulder and I got it on video).
Here's a clip from a few months back. I haven't gotten back into the loop because I lost my board, but it shows you that practice can take you places. This is by no means near 57MPH, but it is a good 40MPH. Cheers!
If you check it at :08 seconds, you see my board wobble a bit. But after practicing and skating tons I didn't even feel those wobbles to tell you the truth.

Playing Your Guitar
You're gonna have to learn how to strum your guitar. This is how your guitar makes sound. You'll need a guitar pick and patience. Timing is key. There is beginner level strumming and advanced level strumming. Here's a video from TVLesson on how to strum for beginners. Here he's using an electric guitar, but the same aspects are applicable for acoustic guitars.
This is the first song I ever learned. It's a little difficult for beginners. However, if you know the song and you like it, learn it. I've always loved this song, so I decided to learn it. Hey, if you have a buddy that is a little more advanced than you, you can both play this song at the same time.
